A practical way to handle it
Start with the least invasive check and change one thing at a time. Keep a note of exact messages, dates and the address used. This makes it easier to separate a device problem from an account restriction and reduces the chance of exposing information to an impersonator.
If the issue involves identity, money or access, use only a channel you independently connected to the account. Do not send a password, one-time code or screen-sharing access to someone who contacted you first.
Limits and safer decisions
